Steve is the President and CEO of Alaris and has served in that role since he co-founded the company in 2004. Mr. King has also served on the board of directors of Alaris since the company went public in 2008. Prior to creating Alaris, Steve spent 12 years in the investment banking industry in both Toronto and Calgary, advising both public and private company entrepreneurs on their capital raising needs. Mr. King is also a director of Metropolitan Investment Corporation, a private investment company. In addition to overseeing the daily operations of Alaris, Steve is involved in every facet of the investment process and is an integral part of the relationships that are created with each of Alaris’ partners. Steve is a married father of three children and an avid sports fan, player and coach.
Prior to joining Alaris in July 2008, Darren was the Chief Financial Officer of Alaris IGF Corp. and its predecessor since November 2004. Darren has been actively involved in the development of Alaris and plays an integral role in the screening of potential investments, the due diligence process and monitoring of current investments. Darren’s work ethic, attention to detail and relationship building skills are integral pieces to Alaris’ success. Before joining Alaris, Darren was the Chief Financial Officer of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, the industry association for the upstream oil and natural gas industry in Canada. Darren obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1995 while working with KPMG LLP in Calgary. He is a married father of three children and is very passionate and active in his children’s sporting and scholastic lives. Darren is also an avid sports fan, player and coach.
Prior to joining Alaris in 2013, Mike worked as a corporate lawyer in the Securities and Mergers and Acquisition group of Burnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP for over 7 years. Mike’s practice included advising clients, including Alaris, on public and private financings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters and general corporate matters. Mike received his Bachelor of Business Administration (with distinction) from the University of Regina in 2003 and his Bachelor of Laws (with distinction) from the University of Alberta in 2006 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2007.
Gregg Delcourt has spent 11 years as an investment banker, most recently as Managing Director, Investment Banking at Raymond James. Prior thereto, Mr. Delcourt held the position of Vice President, Mergers & Acquisitions at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance. Over the past 17 years, Mr. Delcourt has been active in financing private and public companies and has been active in advising management teams on raising capital, mergers & acquisitions and go public transactions, with a focus on small to mid-cap entities. Mr. Delcourt holds a Master of Science degree from the University of British Columbia, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Curtis has been with Alaris since 2006 and brings a broad range of knowledge and experience to the company. A Finance graduate from the University of Saskatchewan, Curtis has spent time in the Petroleum, Banking and Foreign Exchange Industries as well as in the Public Sector. With his skill set Curtis is able to provide valuable input from a macroeconomic point of view during the due diligence process as well as during the ongoing monitoring of Alaris' partners. His daily functions include financial modeling, due diligence and monitoring of partner company performance, managing Alaris' currency hedging program as well as overseeing the Investor Relations platform.

Prior to joining Alaris in October of 2013, Mrs. Frazer spent 9 years working with EY most recently as a Senior Manager in the EY Transaction Advisory group where she provided transaction advisory services to both buy and sell side clients across a broad spectrum of industries. Amanda worked on many of the due diligence files for Alaris as an advisor and has strengthened Alaris' internal due diligence process as well as the process of monitoring operational performance of current Private Company Partners. Amanda has been a Chartered Accountant in Canada since 2008 and earned a Bachelor of Applied Business Administration, with a major in accounting, from Mount Royal University in 2004.

Prior to joining Alaris in February 2016, Dan served as an Associate in KPMG’s Deal Advisory and Audit groups. At Alaris, Dan’s efforts are focused on performing due diligence on new Private Company Partners and ongoing financial and operational monitoring of current investments. Dan graduated with distinction from St. Francis Xavier University where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration and has been a Chartered Accountant since 2014.

Marla joined Alaris in May 2016 after consulting with the company for four years. She is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Alberta and has over 28 years of experience working in Canadian and International corporate tax. Marla has provided expertise in tax services relating to acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, reorganizations and financings. She also has extensive knowledge with tax compliance and financial reporting. Marla is a proud mother of three daughters and actively volunteers within her community. Her additional passions include hiking, golf and travel.

Prior to joining Alaris in October of 2016, Elizabeth spent 7 years working as a tax lawyer with Burnet, Duckworth and Palmer LLP (law firm). As a tax lawyer, Elizabeth’s practice focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and financings, employee remuneration and compensation, tax-loss utilization transactions, partnerships and joint ventures, and tax litigation and tax dispute resolution. Elizabeth received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Calgary in 2006 and her Law Degree from the University of British Columbia in 2009 and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2010.

Jordan joined Alaris in 2019 as a member of the legal team. He has experience as an attorney in a broad range of transaction matters, including private equity, public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities. Jordan joined Alaris from Bennett Jones LLP where he served as an associate in the firm’s Vancouver and Calgary offices. Jordan received a Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Royal University, and is a member of the bar in Alberta and British Columbia. At Alaris, Jordan advises on legal matters for potential partner investments as well as assists with general legal and compliance related functions.

Prior to joining Alaris, Devin served as an Investment Banking Associate on the M&A advisory team with Primary Capital Inc. Devin graduated from Brown University where he earned a degree in Business, Entrepreneurship and Organizations. At Alaris, Devin’s efforts are centralized on strengthening the company’s well-established network of active investment community relationships as well as working to forge new relationships that will help source new quality investment opportunities. Devin and his wife enjoy seeking an active lifestyle and as a true sports fan, Devin enjoys participating in almost any sporting activity.

Prior to joining Alaris, Shawn served as an Investment Banking Senior Associate with Capstone Headwaters a middle market M&A advisory firm in Denver, Colorado. Prior thereto, Shawn held the position of Vice President, Investment Banking at Acumen Capital where he was with the firm for over 4 years. Shawn graduated from the University of Denver where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Finance and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Calgary. At Alaris Shawn’s efforts are focused on strengthening the company’s well-established network of active investment community relationships as well as working to build new relationships that will help source new quality investment opportunities. Shawn enjoys living an active lifestyle and is an avid sports fan.

Prior to joining Alaris in August 2016, LiAnn held a Business Development and Marketing role at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP. At Alaris, LiAnn focuses on creating communications material and strategic marketing campaigns for the firm. She also manages sponsorships and charitable donations, as well as oversees all corporate events. LiAnn graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce focused on marketing and holds her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. LiAnn enjoys hiking and travelling, as well as living an active lifestyle.

Prior to joining Alaris in May 2019, Matt served as a Controller at private real estate company in Calgary and was also an associate at KPMG LLP in the Audit group. Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan in 2012 and received his Chartered Accountant designation in 2015. At Alaris, Matt’s work is focused on the ongoing financial and operational monitoring of current investments, assisting with the preparation of Alaris’ quarterly financial reporting requirements and to help with due diligence work on potential new partners. Outside of work, Matt is an avid sports fan and enjoys the outdoors.

Prior to joining Alaris in December 2020, Mary Beth spent 7 years working in public accounting and has practiced tax for 4 years, most recently as a Manager in the EY International Tax and Transaction Services group where she focused on providing tax structuring advice and performing buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence services for clients across various industries. Mary Beth also has experience with Canadian tax compliance and reporting. Mary Beth graduated from St. Francis Xavier University where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2013 and received her Chartered Professional Accountant designation in 2016.

Prior to joining Alaris in January 2018, Christa served as a C-suite Executive Assistant and Office Manager for over fifteen years in the public market sector. Christa’s brings a broad range of industry experience from start up’s to multi-faceted mergers. Christa’s efforts are focused on offering executive support and office management to all facets of Alaris Royalty with primary focus on legal support. Her passion and flair for administrative professionalism is evident as she has served since 2011 President for the Association of Administrative Professionals, Calgary Branch.
