The evolution of Alaris as both an investor and a true long-term partner is reflected in our journey with SonoBello. After 21 years in business, we're excited to share an update on what we've been doing alongside our partners—because that's where the real growth happens.

In the case of SonoBello, our partnership has spanned two liquidity events, acquisition capital, and the flexibility needed to evolve. When the time came to do something transformative, we were proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder to help make it happen. As a result of this trusted partnership, what began as a $30 million investment seven years ago set the foundation for growth and a $400 million deal—one that left the founder in control and the business stronger than ever.

One of our longest-standing partners, Ohana —which fittingly means “family” in Hawaiian—has truly embodied what partnership means to us at Alaris. As one of the largest franchisees of Planet Fitness gyms in the U.S., Ohana has grown alongside us in remarkable ways. Over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of helping them expand from 30 locations to more than 90, in multiple states and regions and showing no signs of slowing down.

What makes this relationship so special is not only the scale of the growth but also the family-like trust that has defined it. With the flexibility of our investment model, and by bringing in a like-minded third party, we’ve been able to achieve something unique: for the first time, we are the controlling shareholder in Ohana. That milestone would never have been possible without the deep confidence they place in the Alaris family.

We’re proud of the success we’ve accomplished together and even more excited for the future. With this foundation of trust, shared vision, and true partnership, we look forward to continuing to grow side by side for many years to come.
